Joey Ewick

General Manager

Joey is Arcenciel’s General Manager, bringing 15 years of experience in the service industry. As GM, he specializes in exceptional customer care and is known for the genuine connections he builds with guests.

Joey’s career highlights include leading the internal guest relations and customer experience team during the opening of Volcano Bay with NBC Universal. He has also worked with the education team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and has a background in serving and bartending with Discovery Cove at SeaWorld.

Passionate about fostering connections within the LGBTQ+ community, Joey led East and South Michigan district PetSmart team leaders at MotorCity Pride in 2024, where he organized the donation of over 1,000 toys and treats for attendees.

In his free time, Joey enjoys board games, rollerblading, traveling, gardening, and relaxing at home with his fiancé, Derek, and their cats. Joey is always eager to bring a smile to your face and looks forward to welcoming his new guests.
